Introduction to school year 2020-2021

 

INTRODUCTION

 

This year, due to the current situation caused by COVID-19, our school has been forced to follow a blended learning scheme. This “hybrid learning model” combines both traditional face-to-face classes and online courses methodologies.  Blended learning represents a model that integrates technology to boost learning, and we will try to take advantage of those circumstances.

First of all, you must know that we will be using EducamosCLM and Teams for the online sessions. However, we are having problems with EducamosCLM right now because the details of a lot of students haven’t been transferred from the central system to that platform. Until that moment, we will use this blog for our online sessions.

The aim of the blended learning scheme is to split up the group in two so that classrooms can have enough space to respect social distancing and we can follow all the legal requirements.

Please, read carefully this information published by our school’s management team. You will attend our classes only once a week. This is the day that corresponds to your attendance depending on your last name:

This distribution may change once the groups have finished their registration and the problems with the data transfer in EducamosCLM are solved. Once the groups are stablished, students won’t be able to change their day of physical attendance.

Esta es la guía del candidato que se ha publicado para todo el alumnado que desee presentarse a las pruebas de certificación en Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas en Castilla-La Mancha.

FYI

Hoy se ha publicado la Resolución por la que se convocan las pruebas de certificación de competencia general de los niveles Básico A2, Intermedio B1, Intermedio B2, Avanzado C1 y Avanzado C2 de las enseñanzas de idiomas de régimen especial, se establece el procedimiento y el calendario de realización de las pruebas y las instrucciones para la solicitud de participación en las mismas del alumnado de la modalidad a distancia en la comunidad autónoma de Castilla-La Mancha para el curso académico 2019/2020.

Lo que más os puede interesar es el Anexo I, que es el calendario (ya os lo pasé hace unas semanas) y el Anexo III, que trata sobre las características de las pruebas específicas de certificación. Os paso todo el documento:

Certificate tests schedule.

I hope all of you are enjoying your summer and leaving all that's happened behind. I just wanted to show you the schedule for your exams. There will be two calls eventually. They decided to change the decision they made in April.  Your written tests will be on September 9th, at 4 pm and October 7th, at 3 pm.  There's no information about your oral tests yet, but they will be published shortly.
