WELCOME TO THE 2026-27 ACADEMIC YEAR
Dear students,
We would like to welcome you to the new academic year, which begins today.
We encourage you not only to attend classes regularly, but also to devote part of your time outside school to your language learning. This is the best way to ensure steady and effective progress. If you are unable to attend a class on a particular day or for a longer period, you will still be able to keep up with the course through the virtual classroom provided by your teacher for your group.
Below you will find some useful information for the start of the academic year.
1. Attendance lists
Please make sure that your name appears on the attendance lists provided by your teacher so that your attendance can be recorded. If your name is not listed, you should check the group in which you enrolled through EducamosCLM (-secretarÃa virtual – seguimiento educativo).
2. Extended absences
In the event of an extended absence (more than 25% of classes missed during the term or academic year), you may submit a justification in advance, if you wish, by completing an official application form ("Expone-Solicita") through the school administration office or by email to: secretaria.eoitoledo.edu@outlook.es
Absences may be justified for the following reasons:
- Illness preventing attendance.
- Unforeseen family, work-related or academic obligations.
- Other exceptional circumstances.
Evidence relating to occasional absences (one or two isolated days) should be kept by the student. In such cases, it is not necessary to submit a justification to the school.
3. Absence during the first days of the course
If you expect to be absent during the first ten days of classes (from 23 September for Monday/Wednesday groups and from 24 September for Tuesday/Thursday groups), you are advised to notify the school by submitting an "Expone-Solicita" form via email to: secretaria.eoitoledo.edu@outlook.es
4. Notification of excessive absences
If your absences exceed 25% of classes during the academic year, you will receive a formal notification explaining the procedure for justifying those absences.
5. Withdrawal or cancellation of enrolment
Please remember that if your personal or employment circumstances change, you may withdraw from your enrolment through the school administration office until 31 October without providing any justification.
After this date, you may apply for enrolment cancellation until the last day of April, provided that a valid justification is submitted.
6. Assessment
Your teacher will soon inform you of the type and dates of assessment applicable to your course during the current academic year.
7. School website and communication channels
We encourage you to follow the school's website: www.eoitoledo.edu.es and our social media channels on Facebook, Instagram and X (Twitter):#eoitoledo and**@eoitoledo**. During the 2026-27 academic year, communication between students and teachers will take place through the EducamosCLM Personalised Monitoring Platform and through the email addresses that will be published shortly on the school website.
These channels will keep you informed of any updates, particularly if a teacher is unable to attend class. In such cases, notifications will be sent to your educational email account. This communication system complements the notices published on the school's website and any WhatsApp groups that students may choose to create independently.
8. Group changes
From 23 September onwards, changes of group will only be authorised under the following circumstances:
- A new group has been opened during the September/October enrolment period and was not available during the July enrolment period, subject to approval by the Head of Studies.
- The student provides documented evidence of a justified reason for requesting a group change.
9. Student participation
All students are encouraged to participate actively in lessons, class representative elections, and in any cultural, extracurricular or complementary activities organised by the school.
10. Virtual classrooms
The EducamosCLM virtual classrooms and teachers' blogs are essential tools for keeping up with lessons, especially when attendance is not possible.
11. Library, study room and class timetable
The library and study room are located on the first floor and can be accessed via the left-hand staircase. Information regarding procedures, opening dates and service coordination will be provided shortly.

Class sessions this year will last 110 minutes.

12. Class representatives and student support
Class representative and deputy representative elections will take place in October, from 26 to 27 October.
The Student Representatives' Council will be constituted on 5 November at 18:50.
If you have any questions or require advice, your teachers will be happy to assist you. Office hours for tutorials and student consultation will be published shortly.
