The journey of plastic around the globe

In this reading activity, you will find out how a piece of trash can travel from land to Henderson Island, an uninhabited, remote island in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean. If you have ever wondered what really happens to the plastic we throw away, here is the answer.

After reading the text and looking up the words you don't understand, look at the following statements  and decide if they are True, False or Not Given.
